Intro to Macs for PC Users
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this one-day course, participants will understand that a Mac is not a PC and will learn:
- How to use the basics of the Mac Interface including how to use scroll, swipe and click correctly, how to change the mouse and trackpad preferences, how to close and resize windows, how to adjust the volume and open apps
- About File Management - How to find files, browse for files, throw files away and how to preview, rename and back up files
- How to use the Dock and Menu Bar and how to search for anything with Spotlight
- How to use the Mac productivity iWork tools built for Macs including Keynote, Pages and Numbers
- How to find and use the best free photo editing software, film editing tools and other powerful apps
